Myofascial Release is a safe, effective form of bodywork. By using gentle, sustained pressure the fascial system is never forced. Fascial restrictions are often the source of pain but with myofascial release therapy, connective tissue is allowed to stretch or “melt” fascial restrictions and eliminate pain, tension, and restricted motion.

What Should I Wear?
Clothing Suggestions: As a general rule, women can wear loose gym shorts, a sports bra or loose tank top. Men can wear elastic gym shorts. Myofascial Release is a hands-on technique performed on the skin, so keep this in mind when making clothing decisions for your treatment.
*No perfumes or lotions: Also, please refrain from applying body lotion on treatment day, as that makes it difficult to maintain good traction.
How long are my treatment sessions?
The first treatment (evaluation) is approximately 1 ½ hours which includes taking your history, performing the evaluation, and actual treatment time. Subsequent visits can be scheduled for one or one and a half hours. Clients are asked to complete their client information form prior to the appointment.
How many sessions will I need?
Results of treatment vary with each individual: Even with similar diagnoses, each client is very different in terms of chronicity and complexity of the problem, and responsiveness to the treatment. Effects of the sessions are cumulative, so the closer together they are, the better the chances are for long lasting results.
Generally, clients reach their goals within four to twelve weeks, with 1 to 3 treatment sessions per week.
Chronic and more severe conditions will require greater frequency and longer lengths of treatment.
